Place your Mary, Our Mother and Queen Crown on your home altar, gather around and pray a decade of the Rosary asking Mary to pray for your family.

Marian Devotion:

All of our recent popes have shown a strong devotion to our Blessed Mother. For example, Pope St. John Paul II entrusted his ministry as bishop and as pope to Mary under the motto Totus Tuus (All Yours, Totally Yours), having an “M” under the cross on his episcopal shield (Mary at the foot of the Cross), and instituting the Luminous Mysteries of the Rosary. Pope Benedict XVI offered many words to and about Mary in teaching as well as in previous scholarship, including these from his book, Daughter Zion (Ignatius Press, 1983, pp. 80-81): “She [i.e., Mary] who is wholly baptized, as the personal reality of the true Church, is at the same time not merely the Church’s promised certitude of salvation but its bodily certitude also. The Church is already saved in her: the new Israel is no more to be rejected. It has already ascended into heaven.” Pope Francis has also shown in many ways his love and devotion for Mary, including under the title Our Lady Undoer of Knots and looking to Mary as the star and mother of evangelization (see Evangelii Gaudium).

How is the Lord calling you and your family to grow in devotion to Mary – to grow in entrusting yourself and your family more to Mary – so that she in turn can help by her intercession to entrust you all more completely to her Son?
