As we look forward to gathering again in the fall, let's take a look at the review art from the last session, where we looked at how God's covenants with people from the Old Testament are fulfilled by Jesus in the New Testament. From Creation, The Fall and Redemption of Adam and Eve, Noah, Abraham, Moses, David, the Prophets and finally to Mary, who fulfilled the prophet's call to obey God, saying yes to becoming the mother of Jesus, and in doing so, becoming the Ark of the New Covenant. Through Jesus, God the Father made a New Covenant with us, his children, where Jesus is the covenantal sacrifice, the Lamb of God who takes away the sins of the world.
This coming year, we enter more fully into the New Testament. We will learn about, reflect and pray on and walk with Jesus' life on earth using the Mysteries of the Rosary as our guide. God's peace be with you.
